Malaga is a city of museums, culture and art. Of course, you can experience the most universally known Malaga artist, Pablo Picasso, by visiting the house where he was born, near the La Merced Square, or the Picasso Museum, dedicated to his legacy, in the Buenavista Palace in San Agustin street. Our city is during 2021 the European Capital of Sport and therefore includes an intense agenda of events related to sports and health like congress on Sport Medicine or active aging or the 2020 Meetings with relevant athletes. Malaga is characterized by having an environment with unbeatable climate conditions, and that is why it has become the ideal destination for sports lovers, as well as for the organization of international events. In Malaga we have a wide variety of facilities, such as a skatepark, as well as natural settings to enjoy practically any sport such as golf, swimming, sailing, diving, windsurfing , sport fishing, canoeing or hiking. In addition, Malaga has great references in pro sports, particularly in basketball with the Unicaja team and of course, in football with the Málaga Football Club.
