After Google announced the creation of a <a href=\"https:\/\/malagaworkbay.com\/en\/google-malaga\/\">cybersecurity centre<\/a> in Malaga, the German company Dekra has also done the same with the creation of a computer technology centre.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dekra.com\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dekra<\/a> is one of the world&#8217;s leading companies in the field of testing, inspection and certification and has chosen the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M\u00e1laga TechPark<\/a> to establish a &#8220;Global IT Hub&#8221;. This hub will include two new digital platform and software development teams, each comprising a group of 20 high-level professionals, which will complement a team of around 100 researchers and scientists already located at the TechPark. The recruitment process for the new staff is currently ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>The new teams will be responsible for driving Dekra&#8217;s <strong>digitalisation projects<\/strong> by developing global platforms for Internet of Things, data, artificial intelligence, analytics and integration, as well as customer solutions based on them. The teams will be integrated into Dekra&#8217;s international network of IT experts and will work closely with existing teams in the Asia-Pacific and Americas regions.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor of Malaga Francisco de la Torre said that the choice of Malaga as the location for the Global Hub was great news. &#8220;This decision represents an important added value to Malaga&#8217;s reputation as a leader in innovation and reinforces our position as a smart city and an ideal place to invest, work and live,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Dekra is also very pleased with the choice: &#8220;The investments we are making strengthen our corporate IT capabilities, significantly expand our research potential and build on our commitment to Andaluc\u00eda, Malaga and its technology park,&#8221; said Ivo Rauh, CTO and member of the Board of Directors of Dekra SE.<\/p>\n<p>Dekra has been working in the field of security for more than 90 years.
